Graphite This assignment gave me another chance to work with my technique on hands, really get those raw details in without really spending days on this piece. |

Perspective
Graphite This assignment really helped me work on perspective even more. I got a feel of how I should have my proportions. The piece to me still looks as if it needs a little more done to it, but this piece looks good so far. |
Too much
Graphite I've worked on fabric before, but this assignment helped me further my skills when drawing clothing or any type of fabric. I feel as if I work on this piece a bit more, it could turn out to something even better. Its all this about shading. |

Acrylic paint Giving my skull a name seemed like a good idea. In this piece I really wanted to bring out those bright colors that usually see in dia de los muertos. When working on this piece, I was really relaxed during the process, and I feel as if that's all art should be, relaxed and fun, doing what makes us happy and comfortable. |
2D Art
Imagine Pen and Ink This was a summer assignment done to show how we use our skills to show movement using black pen and ink. It's that one assignment that lets your mind wonder and your hand flow. It supposed to let you imagination go where it wants. So I put on some music and let my hand move to the music. |
Still life Prismacolor This assignment is to show how skilled you are at making art from a point of just looking at an object. It's really helpful at times to just sit and draw, sometimes that all you need to do. |
One with the colors Watercolor and paper cut We had a chance to mess around with any medium that was in our possession. The funny thing about this piece is that I had absolutely no idea what I was going to do, but I grabbed some magazines and cut out pieces that could work together. I ended up with a rainbow theme and it went on from there. |
Smile, they're looking Acrylic paint This piece was inspired by an artwork in the Modern Art museum, that I wish i could provide the artist and name of the piece, but sadly I failed to note it. The idea was to focus on one part of the face and completely blur out the rest of the portrait using acrylic paint. |
Together Graphite and Prismacolor This assignment gave me the chance to get really into detail in hands and challenge my artistic abilities. I chose my friends and i after a great night because you can tell that there is a sort of connection. A good artist will make sure every little thing is detailed as possible in their artwork, the smallest thing can make a huge difference. |
Safe place Watercolor Using a photo taken by me of a room that has a light source shining into a room, an interesting place that catches my attentions. This is the stairs and door leading to the outside of the school. This area just gives off a positive feeling when i walk by it and all the memories I've had there is another reason why I chose it to put on paper. |
Worthy? Prismacolor and Watercolor This piece is simple. So simple that maybe it isn't ever going amount to much. It's how i feel sometimes, I feel like I'm not good enough. Too simple to stand out. |
Alone In Minds
Watercolor This piece is working with positive and negative space. I chose a photo that I took of a music artist that I went to see because i love this person so much and wanted to include him into my artwork for the fact that he is such an inspirations to me. It's expressing that someone could be giving off theses positive vibes and show that he's fine on the outside, but as the color faded to pink and turns to purple, it shows how deep inside he's hurting and alone. |
Fall Graphite and Ink Simple piece with a meaning. I've always loved the autumn season. Everything is dying and starting over. Like a completely new slate. A new chapter as you could say. Starting from the beginning always feels good, and I portray that in this drawing by foreshadowing the end of fall, which is winter, the most wonderful time of the year. |
A Duo and Third Wheel Watercolor and Ink Bringing out the chrome in silverware is difficult, I believe I could do so much better if i took so much time with it. There is not enough time in the world for everything I do a nd have to complete. Work just piles up. But sometime, sitting down and really focusing is really good for you. Seeing a fork and a spoon, and then an extra spoon really makes me wonder, "Is it really necessary to be in the artwork?" |
I Want to Feel You Marker and Ink This has to be one of my favorite pieces to work on, I had fun bringing out lyrics to show a meaning. The song is Vapor by 5 Seconds Of Summer and some lyrics include "I want to breathe you in like a vapor, I want to be the one you remember, I want to feel your love like the weather, all over me, all over me. I want to print our hands in the pavement..." This drawing and lyrics correlate in ways that the hand is printing in the "pavement" or lyrics, or the hand is "feeling" her love like the weather. |
